As you know and have gathered The Pantie Purse has been getting out and about this year and our last event was the wonderful Vanilla Alternative Festival Of Fun. This great festival for the alternative life style was held in the grounds of the hotel and swingers club The Vanilla Alternative.

We were not disappointed when we arrived. We were lucky enough to be invited personally to have a stall at the Festival Of Fun, we had been recommended by Social Swinging, who we have been working close with over a few months. We travelled down and arrived around 5pm on the Friday. We were greeted by very professional members of staff, who went through security checks, made you sign privacy statements and told you where to go and handed you the rules of the festival.

We were impressed by the location, such a beautiful spot with vast grounds and right next to a river. We parked up our van and went to find the organises. Well what can we say about Jules and Scott, Beautiful, Kind, Bubbly and just all round amazing. As people were just arriving the Friday, we decided not to set up our stall until the Saturday morning. Instead we met up with the guys from Social Swinging, who were also promoting their site and did some socialising.

The next morning we got up pretty early and before most of the guests. We had a lovely shower, the facility were amazing at The Vanilla Alternative, always clean, always working. After the shower and a good cup of coffee we set to work setting up our stall.

The sun was shining and we mean shining, it was so hot most people were having bbq's sunbathing and generally relaxing. We worked from 11am to 6pm and met some amazing people and some of our regular customers. We then had a tour of the venue. Its such a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. With chill out areas , licensed bar and even their own giant hot tub/ pool, everything is done to the highest of standard.

Day turned into night, and the event didn't disappoint, with everyone getting glammed up, including us at The Pantie Purse, it was time to enjoy live music. everyone looked beautiful, there was such a high class of people at the Vanilla Alternative Festival.

The band was amazing, a great selection of music and a bit of rock, which we love. They were so talented. when the band had finished the DJ began. What a hunk he was and he played some great tunes. Then it started the Vanilla Alternative Festival Of Fun Foam Party, OMG it was amazing, there was too much foam and as it was a beautiful summers night it was soo enjoyable. Once the foam party had ended it was time for another shower and more socialising with the great friends we had made during the festival. 

I don't think anyone was seen the next day until after 10am, as the partying last well into the early hours of the morning. it was time to pack away our stands, say goodbye to new and old friends and head home.

This event at Vanilla Alternative is not to be missed, great venue, great entertainment and great people. we will most certainly attending again.

Sexhibition - The Erotic Event Of The North

It's nearly that time again for Sexhibition to take place in Manchester. Branded as the Erotic Event of the North and the only one of its kind in the north, Sexhibition Expo needs to learn a lot from last year, which was it first year. So here is our review -

Well as it was the first year we decided to attend the whole event, so bought tickets as soon as they were released for the daytime at sexhibition, the Pin-up and Porn Star party and the After Dark at sexhibition. We paid full price, which we learnt was a big mistake as all tickets appeared on groupon or wowcher closer to the date it was being held.

During the day Sexhibition had retailers in a hall, selling erotic art, erotic books, lingerie and sex toys. To be truthful there wasn't many sellers and the variety of items was a bit poor. 

Off the main hall, were some different rooms, one being a room full off porn stars, that you could meet and have your photo taken with them for a charge. I did get to meet the amazing Ben Dover, in my eyes the most famous english male porn star. He was so nice to talk to, so interesting and I even had my photo taken (he didn't charge me, but did steel a few kisses). I asked him if he was going to the porn star party, which he knew nothing about, which we found a bit odd.

In the middle of the main sexhibition hall was a large stage which featured performers during the day and several fashion shows. whilst watching one of the shows I did meet Sinderella Rockafella one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen. Sinderella features on The Pantie Purse website, in some of our banners and even on the banner for this blog, so it was amazing to meet this pin-up model who we've followed for a long time. She was just visiting the show last year to support her Pin Up Sisters at the The Pin Up Academy, she is however working along side them this year, after returning to modelling after having her baby.

At around 5.30pm it was time for the Pin Up and Porn star party, which was held in a separate room. This was not a good event, it was poorly lit, no one was there and the pin up and porn stars didn't even realise there was a party they had to attend. Needless to say there's no pin up and porn star party this year.

I don't know what we were expecting from the After Dark event at Sexhibition but it wasn't what we got. They had set tables out in front of the main stage for the VIP guests so they could have their meals in front of the entertainment. If you weren't a VIP theres were no other food choices for normal guests, which was very disappointing especially as we had been at the event all day and night. There was one bar in the middle of the main hall and with the amount of guests it wasn't enough. There were queues 10 people deep and it even ran out of alcohol at 10pm. The stalls were still open all night to, as the whole event was in the same hall. We felt for the poor traders having to be there from morning to early morning the next day.

Off the main hall was an erotic cinema, a pole dancing club ( this was closed down to as they didn't have a licence) and a XXX Room. This room was full of fetish equipment, we went in to take a look. There were people everywhere, some watching some thing part. There was a woman getting pleasured bent over and tied to a block. A man in his late 20's or 30's was strapped to a cross with middle aged women flogging his bare arse. It was a sight to behold. We left that room and went to look for somewhere to sit. There was no where, we had to go into the pole dancing club as thats the only place with chairs, other people had the same idea. There was no place to have a dance, or a disco area, which was a shame.

One of the main acts on the main stage was Suki Singapore a word famous burlesque dancer, I'd always wanted to see her perform, along with Dita Von Teese who i'm yet to see. we headed to the main stage where there were hundreds of people crowded round the tables and chairs of the VIP's while they had there meal. If I was a VIP i wouldn't have liked that. Suki Singapore was amazing, so elegant and such a great performer.

The one thing that was good was that everyone could express themselves, there was people in PVC, Pin Up, Lingerie and more. There were people walking their human puppies which was good to see and people just being free to express their sexuality. I decided to wear a dress from the Noir Handmade Fetish Wear Collection from The Pantie Purse, I must say I felt great, super sexy.

So the good points of sexhibition 2015 were - 
I got to meet some amazing people
I got to see Suki Singapore
It' an event held in the north
People could express themselves

The bad points of sexhibition 2015 -
No food for non VIP's
No Disco or place to dance at the After Dark
No where to sit
Bar ran out of alcohol 
Only one bar
Pin Up and Porn Star party was poor
Really hot as air con broken

Swingfields 2016 - Alternative Lifestyle Festival

Swingfields is the largest alternative lifestyle event in the UK's calendar for Swingers and people looking for fun. This year it was held in Trellech in several farmers fields, on the 1st weekend in July and we at The Pantie Purse attended.

On arrival it was a nice day, but a wet and muddy field awaited us. The Swingfields site had been rained on, by the lovely british weather and had made conditions rather difficult. Cast your mind to Glastonbury, and you are on the same mud level.

The traders tent at Swingfields was at the far end of the field to where we had parked. Within the tent were us from The Pantie Purse selling everything erotic, from womens lingerie and nightwear, to dildo's and fetish wear and lube. There were also other sellers and Swinging sites promoting their website and even a Swinging Holiday company promoting their exotic and erotic holidays.

The days at Swingfields looked like this - We woke early and got into the luxury showers that were provided, usually around 8.30am to 9am. We always wanted to get in them early so we could have a nice long hot shower before our day on the stall. We must say all the facilities that were provided at Swingfields were good, from the toilets to the showers, even water points. Although not all food stalls had been able to make it to Swingfields because of the weather, the food choices were still good. We had breakfast every morning from the Feast Food van that was ran by some lovely gentlemen, who were both called Richard. They even supplied us with change all weekend to for us to use on our stall and kept me supplied with plenty of coffee.

At Swingfields 2016 we met some great people. We want to thank everyone who came to see us on our stall and thank our customers.

We couldn't attend Swingfields without getting involved in the nightlife. The Red Party Bus was our first stop where we got ourselves a drink and met up with friends. Then it was either off to the Disco tent or the tent opposite which had live entertainments.

We must admit we made some great friends at Swingfields and we will keep in touch with them going forward. We are already planning on attending Swingfields 2017, not just because of our work but because the people were great, the atmosphere was brilliant and it was such a fun packed festival. So anyone thinking of going we would highly recommend it.
